Safe Harbor

This tranquil harbor is located

in Galaxithi, a beautiful old port town in Central Greece, The 18th and 19th centuries saw great prosperity for sailing ship owners before the introduction of the steamships and many fine mansions were built in the town.

Kolymbithres

This sheltered beach on the Island of Paros is known for it's unique rock formations. Time and water has eroded the rocks to form a cavity that resembles a baptismal font from which the beach took it's name.

Molyvos

This beautiful harbor town is on the island of Lesvos. A medieval castle built by the Byzantines sits atop a small hill and the town's preservation status ensures the beauty of the natural stone houses.

Mykonos harbor

This picturesque harbor, where colorful fishing boats decorate the tranquil waterfront, is Mykonos. For decades people have been drawn to it's sandy beaches and sunny climate. It has more recently become a world renowned spot for clubs and nightlife.

Naoussa

The island of Paros in the Cylcades is the location of Naoussa; a bustling fishing village nestled in a natural harbor. Seafood restaurants with outdoor seating line the small quay and the busy commotion of the sunny day gives way to a tranquil ambience as the quay transforms into a poplular restaurant destination.

Naxos boat

The island of Naxos in the Cyclades group is home to these colorful fishing boats. They are owned by fishermen from the small village of Apollo.

Naxos harbor

This beautiful harbor is in the main town of Naxos. The largest island in the Cyclades it has a diverse economy and a lively atmosphere year round.

Panormitis

This broad colorful boat is used to fish local waters and is know as a kayiki. It is named Panormitis, after the local monastery "St Michael of Panormitis", on the Island of Symi. Pilgrims come from all over the world to attend a Pentecostal festival at the monastery.

Spetse boats

Colorful fishing boats line up along the quay on the Island of Spetse. Locally these broad boats are known as Kayikis.
